The United States’ Transport Security Administration (TSA) is advising airlines that, as of 30 June 2018, new security measures will apply to US-bound passengers flying from NON-US AIRPORTS and carrying powder-like substances in quantities of 12 ounces / 350g and over.
These products will not be allowed in the cabin of the aircraft and may be subject to confiscation at the boarding gate.
However, such products placed in a properly sealed STEB (Sealed Tampered Evident Bag) may be allowed through the checkpoint and transported in the cabin of an aircraft.
For more information, see DFWC notice.
