In recent years the association has been able to carry out various CSR actions.
The first step was a donation to Hand in Hand, in the face of the heartbreaking situation in Haiti after the January 2010 earthquake.
Since the creation of Women in Travel Retail, in 2010, we have been collaborating with them, giving them the place to hold meetings, free registration for our events and sometimes the food and beverage service for the cocktail they hold during the ASUTIL conference .
In 2012, donations of materials were made to IKUSI, a social audiovisual production company that seeks to tell stories of little-known realities from a positive perspective and without victimizing, which was created by Valentina Quagliotti, who was part of the ASUTIL team in 2011.
For 3 years, 2012 to 2014 we contributed with the Center for Support to Integral Development - CADI, with time and materials.
Since 2014 we have been contributing to the DFNI Charity Ball with the contribution of a free registration to our annual conference for the raffle they carry out during the event.
A donation to a border entity has also been incorporated into the new event that we held for the first time in 2013, the Border Encounter. In 2013 it was APADIR, in 2014 to the Caqueiro Social Project, both in Rivera and in 2019 when we resumed with the Meeting with Friends of the Elderly in Bella Unión and the Nuestro Hogar Association in Río Branco.
And this year, 2020, following the emergence of the coronavirus, we have made a donation to the Ministry of Social Development of Uruguay, MIDES. More information about such donation will be available in the COVID-19 section below.
